✨ Candle Care

To get the most out of your candle and ensure a safe burn, please follow these care tips:

  • Trim the wick to 5mm before each use to prevent smoke and uneven burning.
  • Allow a full melt pool to form across the surface during the first burn to prevent tunnelling.
  • Burn for 3–4 hours at a time—never more than 4 hours.
  • Keep the candle away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable.
  • Do not move the candle while it’s lit or when the wax is still hot.
  • Always place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
  • Stop burning the candle when about 1cm of wax remains at the bottom.
  • Keep your candle free from any foreign material this includes wick trimmings and matches.
  • Extinguishing your Candle - We advise using a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle. This will prevent your wicks from drifting off centre, and maximising your candle burn time. Blowing out your candle is not recommended as the liquid wax may splatter and your wick will continue to glow and emit a small amount of smoke - Once your candle is extinguished, allow the wax to solidify before you trim the wick.

Enjoy your candle safely and beautifully. ✨

🧼 How to Clean Out an Empty Candle Jar

Option 1: Hot Water Method

  1. Remove as much wax as you can with a spoon or butter knife (gently).
  2. Pour hot (not boiling) water into the jar, leaving some space at the top.
  3. The leftover wax will melt, float to the top, and harden as the water cools.
  4. Once the wax hardens, scoop it out and discard or reuse.
  5. Wash the jar with warm, soapy water to remove residue.

Option 2: Freezer Method

  1. Place the jar in the freezer for a few hours.
  2. The wax will shrink and should pop out easily with a gentle nudge.
  3. Wash the jar with warm, soapy water.

Extra Tips:

– Use rubbing alcohol or vinegar to remove any stubborn residue or labels.

– Avoid pouring wax down the sink it can clog your pipes!

– If the wick is glued to the bottom, gently pry it off with a butter knife or tweezers.
